- 2 lb. Hamburger
- 4 large Onions, chopped
- 4 (15-oz.) cans Tomato Puree
- 1 T. Salt
- 1 tsp. M-K Granulated Black Pepper
- 1 T. Sugar
- M-K Ground Cumin (to taste)
Directions
- In a large skillet, brown the hamburger meat. Once fully cooked, drain any excess grease and transfer the meat to a separate bowl.
- In the same skillet, cook the onions until they turn translucent. You can use a splash of water or butter to prevent sticking and add flavor.
- Once the onions are cooked, combine them with the browned hamburger meat.
- Pour the tomato puree into the meat and onion mixture, stirring well to combine.
- Season the mixture with salt, M-K Granulated Black Pepper, and sugar.
- Add M-K Ground Cumin a teaspoon at a time, tasting in between to reach your desired level of flavor.
- Let the mixture simmer for a while, allowing all the flavors to meld together.
