Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 6 Egg Yolks
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 4 tsp. M-K Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 3 env. Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1 c. Cold Water
  • 1/2 c. Hot Water
  • 3 c. Cream
  • 3 c. Milk
  • 6 Egg White

Directions

  1. Beat egg yolks.
  2. Add sugar and salt and mix well.
  3. Incorporate M-K Pure Vanilla Extract, milk, and cream while mixing.
  4. Dissolve gelatin in cold water.
  5. Add hot water to the gelatin to fully dissolve.
  6. Stir the gelatin mixture into the main mix.
  7. Beat egg whites until they become foamy.
  8. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar to the egg whites and continue to whip until they form moist, glossy peaks.
  9. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the ice cream mixture.
  10. Pour the mixture into a freezer can.
  11. If using an electric freezer, freeze for 20 minutes to half an hour.
