Scalloped Onions

Ingredients
- 6 medium Onions
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1 cup Thin Cream Sauce
- Salt, to taste
- M-K Granulated Black Pepper, to taste
- Butter or Margarine
- M-K Paprika, for garnish
- Grated Cheese (optional)
Directions
- Peel the onions, slice them crosswise, and cook them until they are almost tender in a small amount of water. Drain them well.
- In a greased casserole dish, create layers as follows: bread crumbs, onion slices, thin cream sauce, a pinch of salt, and a sprinkle of M-K Granulated Black Pepper. Start with a layer of bread crumbs and end with a layer of bread crumbs.
- Dot the top layer with small pieces of butter or margarine.
- Sprinkle M-K Paprika over the top for garnish. If desired, you can also top it with grated cheese for added flavor.
- Bake at 350°F for approximately 30 minutes or until the dish becomes bubbly and lightly browned.
