Oven Caramel Corn

Ingredients
- 8 qt. Popped Corn
- M-K Popcorn Seasoning
- 2 c. Brown Sugar
- 1/2 c. White Corn Syrup
- 2 sticks Butter
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 pinch M-K Cream of Tartar
- 1 tsp. M-K Pure Vanilla Extract
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 250°.
- Sprinkle the popped corn with M-K Popcorn Seasoning and set aside.
- In a heavy pan, combine the brown sugar, white corn syrup, and butter.
- Cook the mixture to the soft ball stage, between 234° to 238°.
- Remove the mixture from heat.
- Add baking soda, M-K Cream of Tartar, and M-K Pure Vanilla Extract. Mix well.
- Pour the caramel sauce over the seasoned popped corn and stir to coat evenly.
- Transfer the coated popcorn to a baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to ensure even coating.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool.
- Store the caramel popcorn in an air-tight container.
