Oven Baked Rice
Oven-Baked Seasoned Rice with Parsley is a simple yet flavorful side dish. This dish combines long-grain rice with M-K Seasoned Salt, butter, and fresh parsley. Baking the rice in the oven allows it to absorb all the savory flavors while becoming perfectly tender. The addition of parsley adds a burst of color and freshness to the rice. Ingredients
- 1 cup. Long Grain Rice
- 2 tsp. M-K Seasoned Salt
- 3 tbsp Butter or Margarine
- 2 1/2 cups. Cold Water
- 1/4 cup. Parsley, minced
- 1 tbsp Butter or Margarine
Directions
- Place the long-grain rice and M-K Seasoned Salt in a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.
- Dot the rice with 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine.
- Add the cold water to the casserole.
- Cover and bake at 350°F for 60 to 70 minutes or until the rice is tender and has absorbed the liquid.
- Before serving, fluff the rice with a fork.
- Stir in the minced parsley and 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine.
