Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Vegetable Shortening
- 1 c. Brown Sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 c. Granulated Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 c. Water
- 1 tsp. M-K Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 c. Oatmeal, uncooked
- 1 c. All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Soda
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the vegetable shortening, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, water, and M-K Pure Vanilla Extract until creamy.
- In a separate bowl, combine oatmeal, flour, salt, and soda.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix well.
- Drop the cookie dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Makes about 60 cookies.
