Apple pie made with Marion-Kay apple pie spice and vanilla extract

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1 cup Apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon M-K Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon M-K Pure Vanilla Extract

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg, and then stir in the milk, raisins, chopped apple, and oil. Mix just enough to moisten the ingredients.
  2. Add the all-purpose flour, quick oats, sugar, salt, baking powder, M-K Ground Cinnamon, and M-K Pure Vanilla Extract to the wet ingredients. Stir until the ingredients are just combined. Do not overmix; it’s okay if there are a few lumps.
  3. Grease 12 muffin cups or line them with paper liners.
  4. Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with the muffin batter.
  5. Bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  6. Allow the muffins to cool before serving. Enjoy them either cooled or piping hot with butter or cream cheese spread.
