Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- 3 Eggs, beaten
- 1 oz. Water
- 2 tsp. M-K True Lemon Extract
- 1 tsp. Soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 3 3/4 c. Flour
- 1 scant c. Sour Cream
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the beaten eggs, water, and M-K True Lemon Extract to the mixture and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the soda, salt, and flour.
- Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Mix until well combined.
- Drop the dough by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350° until the cookies are light brown.
- Once baked, allow cookies to cool before frosting.
