Almond Sugar Cookie

Ingredients

  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 T. M-K Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 c. Milk
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 4 c. Flour
  • Additional white sugar for sprinkling

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is well incorporated.
  3. Stir in the M-K Pure Vanilla Extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  6. Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
  7. Sprinkle the tops of the cookies with additional white sugar.
