Ingredients
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Butter or Shortening
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp. M-K Orange True Extract OR M-K Cocoanut Flavor OR M-K Lemon True Extract
- 2 1/2 c. Flour
- 2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1/3 c. Water
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together sugar and butter or shortening until smooth.
- Add the egg and cream the mixture again until well combined.
- Stir in the M-K Orange True Extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the water, until a smooth dough forms.
- On a floured board, roll out the dough to your desired thickness.

- Place the shaped dough pieces onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
