  1. Cut the clams into small cubes and place them in a 3-quart saucepan.
  2. Add the potatoes, water, salt, M-K Granulated Onion, M-K Granulated Black Pepper, and M-K Ground Celery Seed to the saucepan.
  3. Allow the mixture to simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the half & half cream, M-K Hickory Smoke Seasoning, and butter or margarine.
  5. Heat the chowder until it reaches the boiling point, but do not let it boil.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle M-K Ground Thyme over the chowder.
