Chicken Marsala

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 T. M-K BAM!
  • 2 Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 T. Olive Oil
  • 4 T. Butter
  • 3 c. Mushrooms, sliced
  • 3/4 c. Marsala Wine
  • 1 c. Chicken Stock
  • Salt to taste
  • M-K Granulated Black Pepper to taste
  • M-K Chives for garnish

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour and M-K BAM!.
  2. Coat the chicken breasts thoroughly with the flour mixture.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it’s shimmering.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and sauté the mushrooms until they’re golden brown.
  6. Pour in the Marsala wine and bring it to a boil, reducing the wine by half.
  7. Add the chicken stock and let it simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, roughly 5-6 minutes.
  8. Integrate the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter into the sauce, stirring until melted.
  9. Season the sauce with salt and M-K Granulated Black Pepper according to your preference.
  10. Place the chicken back into the skillet to warm up and coat with the sauce.
  11. Garnish with M-K Chives and serve immediately.
