  1. Start by draining the cherries, making sure to reserve the liquid.
  2. In a small container, dissolve the cornstarch using a portion of the cherry juice.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the dissolved cornstarch, sugar, salt, M-K Ground Nutmeg, and the remaining cherry liquid.
  4. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir the mixture constantly. Continue until it thickens and clears.
  5. Once thickened, add the drained cherries, M-K Pure Vanilla Extract, and M-K Angel Food Flavor to the mixture.
  6. Stir well, then spoon the cherry filling into the baked tart shells.
