M-K Beef Paprikas
Beef Paprikas is a hearty, flavorful dish that boasts a robust blend of spices with the smoky undertone of paprika. The beef, simmered until fork-tender, absorbs the essence of the rich tomato puree and aromatic spices, creating a comforting and filling meal. Ingredients
- 4 T. Unsifted Flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. M-K Granulated Black Pepper
- 1 T. M-K Paprika
- 3 lb. Lean Beef, cut into 2″ cubes
- 6 T. Butter or Shortening
- 1 c. Tomato Puree
- 1 c. Beef Stock
Directions
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, M-K Granulated Black Pepper, and M-K Paprika.
- Evenly coat the beef cubes with this flour mixture.
- In a pan, heat the butter or shortening, then quickly brown the beef cubes on all sides.
- Stir in the tomato puree followed by the beef stock.
- Cover and let it simmer in a 325° preheated oven for about 2-1/2 hours or until the beef becomes tender. If desired, for a variation, add sour cream to the sauce and serve over buttered noodles sprinkled with M-K Poppy Seed.
