Spicy Grilled Ham

Ingredients

  • 3 T. Margarine
  • 1/4 c. Green Onion, sliced
  • 1/2 c. Plum Jam
  • 2 T. Dry White Wine
  • 1/4 c. Chili Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp. M-K Ground Allspice
  • 2 lb. Fully Cooked Ham Center Slice, cut 1″ thick
  • 1 T. M-K Parsley Flakes

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, cook green onion in margarine until tender but not brown.
  2. Add plum jam, wine, chili sauce, lemon juice, and M-K Ground Allspice to the saucepan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat.
  4. Allow the sauce to simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep the sauce warm.
  5. Trim the fat edges off the ham slices.
  6. Grill the ham slices for about 15 minutes, brushing them with the sauce.
  7. Turn the ham slices, brush again with the sauce, and grill for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. To serve, pour the remaining sauce over the grilled ham and sprinkle with M-K Parsley Flakes.
