1 c. Raisins
1 c. Brown Sugar
1/2 c. Shortening
1 c. Boiling Water
1 c. White Syrup
3 c. Flour
1 tsp. M-K Ground Ginger
1 tsp. M-K Saigon Cinnamon
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt

Mix raisins, sugar, shortening, syrup and boiling water. Blend in flour, salt, soda and M-K Spices, which have been sifted together. Bake in greased and lightly floured 9 X 13 cake pan for 40 minutes at 350°. Top each serving with whipped cream.
