Fried Fish with Cornmeal and Flour Breading

  1. In a bowl, sift together flour, corn meal, and M-K Chicken Seasoning Plus.
  2. Lightly dust each fish piece with plain flour.
  3. Dip each fish piece into clear water or milk.
  4. Thoroughly coat each fish piece with the breading mixture.
  5. To pan fry: In a skillet with hot shortening (about half the depth of the fish’s thickness), brown both sides of the fish. Then, reduce heat and continue cooking until fish is fully cooked.
