Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon M-K Chicken Seasoning Plus
- 2 large Onions
- Milk
Directions
- In a bowl, sift together the dry ingredients, including the flour, salt, and M-K Chicken Seasoning Plus.
- Peel the large onions and slice them into rings approximately 1/4 inch thick. Separate the rings and place them in a bowl.
- Soak the onion rings in milk for 30 minutes, allowing them to absorb some moisture.
- Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, coating it evenly.
- After dipping in flour, dip the rings back into the milk.
- Finally, dip the rings once more into the flour mixture to coat them thoroughly.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully fry the coated onion rings in batches until they turn a golden brown color, which usually takes about 3 to 5 minutes. Be sure not to overcrowd the fryer, as this can cause the rings to stick together and not cook evenly.
- Remove the fried onion rings from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Serve the French Fried Onion Rings as a delicious and crispy appetizer or side dish.
