Freezer Slaw

Ingredients
- 1 lg. head Cabbage, shredded
- 1 T. Salt
- 1 c. Vinegar
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Water
- 1 tsp. M-K Whole Celery Seed
- 1 tsp. M-K Whole Mustard Seed
- 1/4 tsp. M-K Granulated Black Pepper
- 3 stalks Celery, finely chopped
- 1 Green Mango, finely chopped
- 1 Red Mango, finely chopped
Directions
- Mix the salt with the shredded cabbage. Allow it to stand for 1 hour.
- In a separate pot, combine vinegar, sugar, water, and M-K spices. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Then, set it aside to cool.
- Drain the cabbage thoroughly after its hour-long rest.
- Mix the drained cabbage with the chopped celery and both types of mango.
- Blend in the cooled vinegar solution.
- Package the slaw in freezer-safe boxes or bags for storage in the freezer. If preferred, it can also be stored in the refrigerator where it will keep well for several days.
