Delaware Succotash
Delaware Succotash is a classic American side dish that combines the sweetness of whole kernel corn with the creaminess of lima beans, enhanced by the savory flavor of salt pork. This dish is a comforting and hearty addition to any meal.
To prepare Delaware Succotash, start by layering thinly sliced salt pork at the bottom of a saucepan. The salt pork infuses the dish with its rich, smoky flavor as it cooks. Next, add the lima beans and enough water to cover them, and cook until the lima beans are tender.
