Ingredients
- Meaty Ham Bone
- 8 c. Water
- 1 lb. Split Peas
- 1 1/2 c. Potatoes, diced
- 1 c. Carrots, sliced
- 1 c. Onions, chopped
- 2 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. M-K Granulated Black Pepper
- 1 M-K Bay Leaf Ground
Directions
- Place the meaty ham bone in water and cook for 1 hour.
- Add the split peas, potatoes, carrots, onions, salt, M-K Granulated Black Pepper, and M-K Bay Leaf to the pot.
- Simmer the mixture for another hour or until the ham is tender and the peas are mushy.
- Remove the meat from the bone and add it back to the soup.
