Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Vegetable Oil
- 2 c. Cider Vinegar
- 2 T. Salt
- 1 Egg
- 1 T. M-K Poultry Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. M-K Ground White Pepper
- 1 to 2 1/2 lb. Chicken
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine the vegetable oil, cider vinegar, salt, egg, and M-K spices. Heat the mixture until well combined.
- Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and pour the heated barbecue sauce over them.
- Allow the chicken to marinate for an hour. If the chicken isn’t fully submerged in the sauce, turn the pieces a few times to ensure even coating.
- In a heavy skillet, heat 2 T. of vegetable oil until it bubbles but isn’t smoking.
- Drain the marinated chicken and brown each piece in the hot skillet.
- Transfer the browned chicken pieces to a baking pan and baste with the remaining marinade.
- Bake in a preheated 350° oven, basting and turning occasionally, for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until fully cooked.
