Marion-Kay Aztec Steak

Ingredients
- 2 lb. Round Steak, cut into 1/2″ cubes
- 1/4 c. Flour
- Salt (to taste)
- M-K Granulated Black Pepper (to taste)
- 3 T. Butter or Margarine
- 1/2 tsp. M-K Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/8 tsp. M-K Granulated Garlic
- 1 c. Onion, diced
- 1 (6-oz.) can Tomato Paste
- 1 1/2 c. Water
- 1 small Onion, sliced thin
- 1 small Green Pepper, cut into 1/2″ wide strips
Directions
- Begin by dusting the round steak cubes with flour.
- Season these cubes with both salt and M-K Granulated Black Pepper.
- In a skillet, melt the butter or margarine and brown the steak cubes.
- In a separate bowl, combine M-K Pure Vanilla Extract, M-K Granulated Garlic, diced onion, tomato paste, and water.
- Pour this mixture over the browned steak cubes.
- Cover the skillet and allow the steak to simmer for about an hour, ensuring the meat turns tender.
- In the latter half of the cooking process, integrate the thinly sliced onion and green pepper strips, ensuring they are submerged a little in the sauce.
