Ingredients

  • 6 Egg Yolks
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. M-K Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp. M-K Cocoanut Flavor
  • 3 env. Unflavored gelatin
  • 1 c. Cold Water
  • 1/2 c. Hot Water
  • 3 c. Cream
  • 3 c. Milk
  • 6 Egg Whites
  • Additional 1/4 cup sugar for egg whites

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks. Gradually add sugar and salt, mixing well.
  2. Incorporate the M-K Extracts, milk, and cream into the mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, dissolve the gelatin in cold water. Add hot water to it to ensure it’s completely dissolved.
  4. Integrate the dissolved gelatin mixture into the main mixture.
  5. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy. Slowly add the 1/4 cup sugar and whip until they form moist, glossy peaks.
  6. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the ice cream mixture.
  7. Pour the mixture into an ice cream freezer can and follow the specific directions of your ice cream freezer.
