Mocha Drop Directions

  1. Cream the shortening and sugar together.
  2. Beat in the egg and stir in the molasses.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the dry ingredients.
  4. Gradually alternate adding the sifted dry ingredients and coffee to the creamed mixture, ensuring it’s mixed thoroughly.
  5. Drop the dough by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and allow the cookies to cool on a cooling rack.

M-K Vanilla Glaze Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine confectioners sugar and M-K Pure Vanilla Extract.
  2. Gradually add milk until you achieve a spreadable consistency.
  3. Once the Mocha Drops have cooled, spread the glaze over each cookie and top with a walnut half.
