Ingredients

  • 6 slices Bacon, diced
  • 3 cups Potatoes, cooked and sliced
  • 1 Onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons M-K Seasoned Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Prepared Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon M-K Granulated Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley

Directions

  1. In a skillet, sauté the diced bacon until it’s crispy. Remove the bacon and drain it on paper towels, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon fat in the skillet.
  2. Add thinly sliced onions to the skillet with the bacon fat and sauté until they become translucent.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, M-K Seasoned Salt, prepared mustard, M-K Granulated Black Pepper, vinegar, and water.
  4. Pour the vinegar mixture over the sautéed onions and cook for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Add the cooked and sliced potatoes to the skillet. Gently mix them with the onion and bacon dressing until everything is well coated.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the potatoes for garnish.
  7. Serve the German Potato Salad hot.
