Ingredients

  • 1 (15-oz.) box Raisin Bran
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 5 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 tablespoon M-K Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 4 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Margarine, melted
  • 1 quart Buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons M-K Pure Vanilla Extract

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the Raisin Bran, sugar, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and M-K Pumpkin Pie Spice.
  2. Add the beaten eggs, melted margarine, M-K Pure Vanilla Extract, and buttermilk to the dry ingredients. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. The batter can be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator and used as needed. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to six weeks.
  4. To make muffins, preheat your oven to 400°F.
  5. Fill greased muffin pans about 2/3 full with the muffin batter.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
